I am currently lifting the rear of my XJ and want to swap out the dana 35. I am looking for a chrysler 8.25 from a '97 or newer and was searching the pull a part website. They have an '87 up in Baton Rouge, just wanted to know if they all have the dana 44, or was it just the XJs with the tow package. It may be worth a trip up there to find out if it has the 44, or should I just find a 8.25 that is over 10 years newer. I am on a budget, so regearing isnt an option at the moment, I know to find one with the same gearing as my front. Thanks for the help!
