Default Directional Lights' sensor

not really sure if the title fits... but the point is that when i turn my directional on, and then make a turn, my directional never auto shuts off. not a clue why this is. the only thing i came up with was a fuse or something maybe.
when i bought the jeep (2001 cherokee classic) the steering wheel for some unknown reason was upside down. so i figured maybe the guy was having problems turning the directionals on cause the wheel was flipped over or something so he ripped a fuse but honestly i dont know much about fuses or anything like that. anyone have any ideas?

I believe its just a little plastic piece that pushes the turn signal back to "off" nothing electronic about it.

The left signal on my 91 doesn't go back after turning.

I'm assuming a new turn signal switch would be needed to fix the issue.

Make sure your clock spring isn't bad, with the wheel upside down the clock spring could have broken

Yep new combination switch, fairly easy to replace. It's easier then trying to repair the tilt steering at least.

"the steering wheel for some unknown reason was upside down."

Physically mounted on the column backwards or off by 180°? Yikes!

For the average "joe" it's much easier to just swap out the entire steering column verus trying to repair the old one.

it was literally mounted 180 degrees. everything worked fine cruise horn airbag... just it was upside down lol. so i had meineke turn it rightside up and do an alignment while they were changing my heater core (the owner owed my dad some favors haha) but because everything works i think the clockspring is fine. just the blinkers dont shut off and idk why or how they work that matter lol
