I looked at a 1990 two door Xj with no vent windows in the side glass... From what i remember.. my dad did the swap so I am not sure how it was done... If I do changed the rear fixed side windows in the 2 door to rear vented side windows What exactly has to be done?
Just talked about this a little bit in another thread want to make sure I am correct...

Google and here: search it man. Chances are its a few and far between mod that most don't have enough knowledge to give you sound advice. That's where I'm comin from anyways. I suppose searching for auto window clips, or window hinges and latches might net you something. Good luck man..

I've never seen someone do it, but it shouldnt be that hard. IIRC the side windows should just rope in like the rear glass does, and you'll need the frame and all for the vent. Should bolt on with 3-4 bolts if i remember right, not sure how the seal will work with the vent, you'll probably have to get the seal for the vent with it as well. But remember this is all speculation.. Best way to find out is to try it.

 

Looks like it is take one window out put the vent windows in for the side windows in a 2 door.... I saw a 98 2 door with the vent windows today...
