Default Dip In Acceleration

So im starting to notice this randomly but say i been idling a little then drive, startup and going off to work or pulling into traffic when i am trying to get up to speed it feels like you are accelerating but halfway through you let off the pedal a little then get back on it. it isnt cutting out or anything just kinda slows down a little then speeds back up despite my foot being steady on the pedal. it goes away and randomly does it. Would that be a throttle position sensor?

It could be a number of things. If you have a tachometer, you should watch it carefully during times this tends to occur to observe what is being shown. It will be important to note whether the RPM increases, decreases, or remains the same when you experience this problem.

Is the check engine light illuminated at this time?
