Default diffrence in clutch kits

I have 93 jeep Cherokee sport 4.0 does the clutch have to be specific for this car. Or can I get a clutch kit that goes to a 2.5 engine. Is there a difference

I don't have a manual, but I would assume the engine doesn't matter and that it is more so based off of the tranny.

Look them up and if they are the same part number then it doesn't matter. If they are different get the one for you Jeep.
