Difficulty of swapping 2wd transmission?
So I took my96 2wd jeep into the shop to check out all the issues it has been having and they said my torque converter is bad. I picked up a tranny from a 94 tonight with 90,000 on the odometer. I am debating on whether or not to do the swap myself or pay someone to do it. I have done 2 manual transmission changes on imports and am trying to find out the difficulty of this job. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

anyway yeah, 2wd trannys are pretty straightfoward, unhook everything, remove transmission, install in reverse procedure.
Its not just my commuter. I use it to commute yes but like I said before I play in the dirt and also do a lot of camping. I was told that the exhaust is in the way and that it is a pain to get the exhaust system out of the way. Any suggestions? Thanks
