Differential fluid leak
Ok, so about a month ago I changed both axles in my car and added differential fluid. Here and there ill see a small leak of differential fluid on the inside of my wheel. It only leaks from the left side of the differential pipe. The right wheel and whelk components are completely dry. Anyone know know what the problem could be? Also, is it bad to drive it in this condition? I only drive about 5-10 miles a day.

That's the axle seal leaking. If your talking about the rear it's a pretty easy job, if its the front it's not so easy. Just do a search, there are some good write ups.
I won't do the work myself. Ill have to take the wheel and all the components off in order to get to the seal. My mechanic will do it. He quoted the Job at $70. Is that a fair price?

Should be ok to drive if you keep an eye on the fluid level. Just make sure the level is up to the fill hole on the front of the differential cover. If it is dropping a half inch or more down each day, then maybe it would be better not to drive much.

$70 is a bargain. Shop here quoted $200 to replace both seals. (I did it myself for $40) Have them do both as long as they're in there- else sure as the sun rises the other side will go next month.
