Got the rearend out of my 87 finally so I could fix a spring hanger thats bent (pass side in front of rear wheel) and found the springs that are on the thing are different lengths by 1 to 2 inches, any see that before?

 

It sounds lie one of your leafs was replaced in the past, or over the years theyve stretched?

 

one is probably flatter than the others, so that might be contributing to the different lengths...?
