Ball Joint Removal
Ok, so I was changing out my front ball joints and then ran into a problem. I cant get the wheel bearing assembly off and I don't have a slide hammer or any money to buy one. Any suggestions on how to remove this without destroying the bearing?

Ballpeen hammer to the bolts from the backside. Screw the bolts in till they protrude out the other side.. use a 13mm socket that you can replace later to buffer between the bolt and hammer.
Unless you have a spare set of hub bolts.. i have a set that i screw in for removal of unit bearings.

or with the bolts half out, put the 12pt 13mm socket on the bolt with a ratchet or extension, and turn the steering wheel till the ratchet comes into contact with the axle, then give the steering wheel a hard turn until the bolt pushes the bearing loose.
same idea as overland, but without the use of the hammer, just be sure to use an old 12pt socket to hammer against.
either way works great.
