Default Differences in gear oil specs

Factory specs say to use 75W-90 on front and rear diffs

Will anything bad happen due to using 80W-90

No, nothing bad will happen, unless you have limited slip in the rear and you need the friction additive. Your diffs will be fine with 80w90 otherwise.
