I normally just keep it in 4wd all time, because I feel like it'll never hurt me.

Yeah, 4WD Full-Time is like AWD. Just not nearly as high tech as current AWD systems can be.

4WD Part-Time is basically 4Hi. It is the same as putting it in 4Lo, but without the extra 4Lo gearing.


I leave mine in RWD. My front axle seems like it makes noise when Im going 40+ mph when 4WD Full in engaged. I have also noticed that putting it in 4WD Full, I have to apply more brake pressure. It pulls a little harder in Full.
