Diff fluid change for front and rear?

Diff fluid change for front and rear?
I am changing my fluid for my 97 cherokee sport. I want to know how do i find out whether or not i have the limited slip diff incase I need the limited slip fluid. Also even if i did not have the limited slip can I use the fluid for limited slip. I am going to use the Royal Purple gear oil. Do i use the same fluid for my front diff. and back? also what color rtv do i use Blue or black and how long do i have to wait before i put my fluid in?
