Default diff carrier
Does anyone know on a chrysler 8.25 if the carrier itself is the same from a 27 spline axel to a 29 spline axel..... like can I switch the spiders and use the other spline axel in it or is the carrier different?

If I remember correctly, the carriers are different. The shafts are slightly larger for the 29 spline shaft and will not fit the 27 spline carrier.
