did some work today on the frame too
Changed the oil and what not but I noticed the other day that the doors had a gap i could see light come through on the passenger front and driver door. I was like I should see if I can fix that. I noticed when I opened that the welds on the door brackets were almost gone. I took the doors off welded the brackets back up and tried to close them... still could see light coming through. I was like wtf!!! so I found a nice stress relieving technique. I took the doors off again and bent the upper brackets inward (toward the body) and it worked great... perfectly straight and not gap no more rain water on me... I suggest if you do this you weld the bracket first because it took some force to get those thick brackets to bend at all.
