Default Did i do this right?

I needed to replace my oil sending unit, so i un cluped the old ome unscrewed it, got the new one but some nylon plumming thread sealer tape around the thread screwed it in pretty tight and plugged it back in. Just checking from other people who have done this but did i do this right?

Question is did you use the white or Blue Teflon tape on the threads? With oil you want the blue because the white Teflon tape doesn't withstand oil like the blue does.
