Default Diagnostic help

I've been trying for over a week now to diagnose and fix this issue I'm having with the Jeep and I've completely run out of ideas as to what it can be.

Basically I just had a buddy change my clutch, master & slave cyls and since then I've had issues with my TPS. It was bucking quite heavily and the check engine light came on when I got it back. I did the three turn of the key trick and got the code for the TPS and I replaced it. Like an idiot and in a rush I didnt disconnect the battery when I changed it so the new TPS was ruined right away. When I realized this i went back to part source and the guys were nice enough to replace it and I went ahead and installed it properly this time.

However now 3 days later I'm having similar issues again. It seems like its dying out a bit when i hit potholes or bumps that jerk on the drivetrain a bit. It FEELS like a TPS in that the engine seems to lose fuel or spark or something and just slow right down for a second. Yesterday in traffic it died out completely on me as I was baking in the sun in rush hour. I know I have an overheating issue aswell but that I can handle, what I cant handle is how this jerks around on me so much.

I've got a couple of ideas but I'm not sure how valid they are, (I should point out I've already checked for codes 4 times, every time I get 12, and 55 which are memory has been erased recently and end of codes)

1. Electrical short thats killing the TPS
2. Fuel pump either dying or losing power somehow
3. Problem with ignition system, plugs, wires, distributor, etc.

When I hit the bump it seems to go over the bump itself but half a second later it just loses power for half a second. At first I thought my shocks were just completely blown out and I was just getting the ghetto bouncing wheel effect but I'm certain its not my shocks now.

Anyone know what it could be? I've got a 24 for anyone who wants to stop by saturday evening/sunday DAY to take a look.

Wiring. Loose or corroded connectors. Take them apart and clean them. Look for any loose wires going in to the connectors. Pack em with dielectric grease and put em back together.

Anywhere I should start looking at or should I just open every connector and pack it full of grease?

Wouldn't hurt to do em all. I'm doing that myself today.

You could narrow it down by starting the jeep and wiggling the wires and try to duplicate it. Do everything you can reach. If it doesnt do anything then take a small soft something and tap on all the sensors and see if you can make it do it.

Back of a rubber handled screw driver works well.
