used the stant superstat. been in there over a year with no issues.. no idea what you could be doing to get multiple bad stats.. i've never heard of anyone have that type of issue.

Mr Gasket high flow. I've ran them for years in different vehicles and never had one fail.

That is going in the next time I replace the hose, I have the 1996 factory original in there now.
Also ordered a new radiator cap, to replace the 1996 factory original as soon as it comes in.
