Death wobble 4 times? Sounds like this guy has severe short-term memory loss.

Now that you mention it, as many worn-out XJs there are on the roads now, I'm surprised I haven't ever witnessed one death-wobble. Seems like most of them are used for short-trip vehicles around here though. Usually the ones I see on the highway are well kept and/or modified.

Now that you said you have never experience it, you will haha. My last XJ had it when stock (arm bushings and track bar). Then had it after I had a RC lift on for 3 years (arm bushings again). My last WJ had it when I got it and it was bone stock (track bar bushing). Both my current XJs have been DW free luckily. Its not fun and once it does it once, it will keep on doing it until you find the source.

Oh, no... I've experienced it, I just haven't witnessed anyone else with it in their worn-out hoopties like Rowan. That kinda surprises me. My wife got to experience it with me in my Bronco years ago. She didn't care for it much.

Sorry guess I read that wrong! I am with you and have never witnessed it from the outside. The only time I have is when someone posted a video of it.

I got to see it on my drive home about 2 months ago.

A Dodge Magnum sedan (with gov plates) was being driven by a woman, and at about 45 it went into a full death wobble. It looked terrible, it must have rattling the drivers fillings out! I was behind her in the Jeep, and from all of the reading on it here, I knew what it was immediately. I stayed behind here, and made some space so that other people would avoid getting too close. She would slow down to almost zero and pull over, and then immediately get back out on the road and try again. She did it about 3 times (that I could see). As soon as she would hit a bump at 45+ it would start again.

I tried to get behind her and flash so that she could stop and I could let her know that she needed to get the car off the road. But she never once noticed me there. She eventually pulled off, and I wasn't able to continue following.

I can't imagine how loose a sedan IFS would have to be to cause death wobble...
