ive got a 98 XJ that shakes (at the right front tire) like it wants to go back in time at 65 mph but im to scared to hit 88 because i think it might explode.

so far ive replaced

all ball joints
both front u-joints
both front wheel bearing hubs
all tie rod ends including the spreader bar

the only things left are the track bar and steering dampner shock. The look ok. any chance it could be them?

 

Sure it's not the tire causing the vibration? Check the control arm bushings and have the front end aligned. A steering dampner will not cure a death wobble, it will only mask the real problem.

 

Check your alignment for sure, your caster angle could be out of spec.

 

I am thinking tires as well. How is the tread? Are they old? Dry? I had a wobble years back, changed the tires and problem solved.
