Please forgive this newbie question.

I have chiltern, and haynes, but I can find no way to decode the data plate on this 1989 Cherokee Larado. The data plate is on the firewall, driver side.

Can anyone direct me to where to get this information?

The delearship. They will give you all of the info you want. Just give them your VIN number.

 

Visited the closest dealership, 47mi one way. No longer a Jeep dealership. Could not help. But I did get the boot I was looking for, so not a total loss.

Next closest is about 100mi. That is a bit much for what I need.

Is there an online resource?
