Ok not sure of proper forum etiquette here...but with the forums help i replaced the full dashboard in my 94 cherokee...easier than i thought...with 2 issues tho...since the replacement my tranny does not shift properly...shifts real late and "hard"...is there a switch or something that I missed under dash? or is this just coincedence and I have another issue....nothing blowing out the center vents...goes defrost and heater but not center...i can hear it blowing in there just not coming out....again sorry if this is in wrong area...I will get better with more posts...and if anyone interested i can post before and after pics of dash but im sure yall seen a thousand of them....thanks in advance

The air flow in the vents sounds like a vacuum leak. I guess it is possible that while you were inside the dash, you could have disconnected one of the vacuum lines.

Not sure about the tranny shifting. I am sure someone will speak up on that one.

Vacuum lines may effect the shift points of an auto tranny, but I'm not really familiar with the autos in these trucks.

As for you hearing the air and it not pushing flow out the vents, I'm guessing you either kinked a HVAC line or it somehow got disconnected during reassembly.
