So on my recently acquired 95' ZJ the Vents and Defroster do not appear to be opening I went to a junk yard and swapped out the control unit (yes it worked in the salvage vehicle) hoping that was the problem, however it still did not work. I see the vacuum tubes and actuators behind the dash, but everything appears connected. I checked all the fused and made sure the vacuum tube was conncted in the engine bay.

Can some one please help me out with this, i have no idea what it could be or where to start. Thanks a lot guys/girls

thanks, it doesnt really explain much but probably monday ill start taking apart the lower dash and hopefully its just a connection or something. With my luck ill probably have to pull the entire dash

 

OK, i checked vacuum going through the firewall into the connector tubes. I have vacuum all the way. I pulled the radio bezel and radio out and i watched the vacuum actuators opening and closing as they should. what else could be the problem???

any new insight to this from anyone? it is really starting to bother my why it blows out floor only. I really dont want to pull the entire dash only to find out that its not the problem
