First of all thanks for the help on tires. I have a 95 cherokee and
the some of the pannel lights are burned out.
So i need to replace them for my wife. So i can,t
get the dsh pannel past the steering colum
so i can remove it. I took the cover of the key part
Part to see if i could slip it by, but it's a no. So i think
i need to drop the the colum a little. When i go to put it
back do i need to tork the bolt to some specs,
or can i just tighten them? I don't want
it to cause s death wobble. Or is it alright?

 

The steering colum doesn't need a specific torque, just make sure it isn't going to come loose. It won't cause death wobble, really. Just loss of control...
