the diaphragm on the axle actually tells the light to come on or not if I remember correctly
One of the 3 vac lines at the axle
If that hose is damaged or missing or ur diaphragm is not engaging, you will not get the dash light.

What is on the right side of the gauge pod on the 88's? I see there must be a digital clock at the top? but in the space below, I can't tell what was there.
