Dash illumination not working

Dash illumination not working
So I was driving around tonight when all of a sudden all the illumination lights went out. I checked the fuses and found the blown one, but when I replace it, it blows as soon as I turn the lights on. Now here is the weird part,if I turn on the rear defogger, the dash lights turn on
