Default dana35c

i was towing a heavy trailer the other day and it jacked knife into the jeep i thought it just bent the rim but after new rims it still has a wobble my ? is what is the right specs for a 97 jeep cherokee with a dana 35c
i need the driver side axle shaft replaced my seals are now leaking
what is the right length and spline count does it have a c clip or not thank u kenny

Not positive, but I believe all the Dana 35 axles in xj's are c clip, 27 spline axles. There is a topic in this section that has stock specs... Go check it out and I'm pretty sure you'll find your answer there... You can also go to quadratec.com and type on your vehicle year and model and they'll tell you which one you need.

My 89 has a D35 non C clip
Im doing the bearings atm
and the axles once u pull the 4 bolts
on the outside just slide right out.

Yeah I think only the older ones like around 90 and older had non c clip... I could be wrong, but I think from there on out they were c clip.

Sounds like the perfect time to upgrade your axle to a ford 8.8, dana 44 or chrysler 8.25
