Default Dana 35 Axle bearing install question

Hey everyone,
I am posting this up here because the XJ forum's are way more responsive. So I have a WJ with a Dana35C rear axle and im replacing the axle bearing and seal. My question has to do with installing the bearing and race. So the race comes preinstalled on the bearing (Picture below). All the videos I have seen on youtube about this shows the bearing being pressed onto the axle shaft complete with race still preinstalled, Everything I have done in the past has the race pressed into place on the axle separate from the bearing being pressed on the axle shaft. Is this proper procedure? just want to make sure.

Thank you for any clarity that you guys can extend.

The router race is integral to the bearing; can't be separated...
