Well done. Use the inch pound wrench and everything? How did you hold the yoke from turning, did you use the special tool or able to manage some other way?

I used a pipe wrench and my hand to hold the yoke. Impact gun made getting it on and off easy, I wouldn't fully tighten it up with the tq wrench unless I thought I was super close to getting the preload right. Honestly at the end of the day taking it to a shop for 450 bucks plus parts wouldn't have been a terrible idea. It was a lot of work. I spent about 9 hours getting the shims all as good as I could get them. I ended up with a bunch of tools and knowledge that I can use next time I tear into a diff with at least a modicum of confidence that I can do the job. I really should of tossed an auto locker in but I am gunna be street driving it a lot so probably not a horrible idea to skip it for now.

Yep, read through dozens of write ups and watched a hundred videos on it. Bought pretty much every tool you need.
