I have a d44 with 3.55 gears and a teraflex t-locker. I am wanting to go
to 4.56 gears and am wondering if my locker will work with the change? Do
I need a diff carrier?
I know if you go over 3.55 in a d30 you got to get a diff carrier. Do I
have to do this with a d44?
I have searched some but could not find exactly what I wanted so I posted this.

THanks. I guess i will be selling a d44 or just a locker and 3.55 gears. Just depends if i find one already set-up.
Thanks for the quick responses and answers.

NOt sure that you cant use your same carrier. When I regeared my d44 I got a set of THICK gears. Not sure if they are available in 4.56, but I would check that before I gave up on that.
