Hey all,
There is the possibility of me swapping in an 8.25 for me D35 in the near future, but I had some questions. First off, since I have ABS, is there any way to keep ABS for the front, but disconnect it for the back? The 8.25 won't have ABS ability as far as I'm aware, but I'd like to be able to keep it for the front axle, seeing that it has disc brakes and it comes in handy on the road (if needed). Other than new U-bolts, what else would I need to complete the swap? If I'm thinking about doing a hack and tap SYE (I have the 242) should I go ahead and do that at the same time, so I know I'll have a good driveshaft? I'd probably get the kit from IRO that comes with the driveshaft.
I'm thinking I might just wait and do the swap when I get new leaf springs and shocks, since I'll already be under there, but I'd like to know ahead of time so I can get planning!

You can just pull the fuse under the hood to eliminate it xj abs blows you dont want it youll need bigger u bolts and make sure the gear ratios are the same and of your not lifted youll need a shorter drive shaft
