D35 or not

HI folks, new to rear ends I think have a D35 but my U joints are 3in is that reasonable?
I'm going to try to upload photos.

Rounded bottom = Dana 35 flat = Chrysler 8.25

Can't remember if any XJs have the Dana 44.

The early XJs came with the option of a D44.

This is my rear end it's d35 but I have 3in u bolts, it's a mystery!!!
