What's the max size tire suggested for a d30?

I think he means a stock D30 (maybe?)

 

It depends what you're doing with it. I wont go bigger than 33's on mine, but I work with a guy that runs 35's on his and its fine.

 

But runs 33's on D30 w/vac disco.
Not a P.
Another runs hard on 35" Pitbulls, no vac disco, aftermarket axles, hi strenght Ujoints, lunchlocker, and trussed.
Again not a P.

 

I read in 4 wheelin that with a super 30 kit the Dana 30 can be almost as strong as a Dana 44, even uses the same universal joint
I Run 33's but 35's wouldn't be out of the question. Even if you couldn't get the 30 spline kit, aftermarket 27 spline chromoly axle's would help out tremendously.
