So this might be a dumb question but the mounts to the bumper form a d-ring shackle, i've heard them called tabs mounts pretty much everything under the sun. And does anyone have any ideas where to by cheap bolt on shackle and the mount? The cheaper the better.

 

northern tool and equp. just bout 5 1\2 ones for 10 bucks. they got bigger ones too.

any jeep/4x4 shop can get them. they bolt up to the frame where the front bumper mounts up. i think omix/rugged ridge has a set for the xj. not cheap tho.
