Default CV Rear Driveshaft? when do i need one?

I was planning on lifting my 2000 XJ 4.5" and then I was planning on installing a SYE, unless i dont need it?

But if i do a 4.5 lift do i also need a CV Driveshaft?

Search online for write-ups and study them step by step, when you feel comfortable then go for it. Nothing too crazy.
