CUTTING OUT
HELP PLEASE. My cherokee 4.0L 1996 when out today i floored it quite hard to pass some cars and it would not go. revs up to around 2500 then drops back keeps falling back and picking up but got no power . could this be fuel starvation and where best to check please.Still had just over 1/4 tank any help PLEASE+THANKS--- just filled it with fuel and still same but seems ok when cold. could this be electrical???

I know if you take a curve to fast or lay down on the go pedal it will cut out with low fuel in the tank. Mine does too. Just an idea I suppose.
