Default Crushed trans cooler lines

Is it normal for the trans cooler lines to be almost crushed flat to fit between the front crossmember and the plastic front fascia?

I think this must have happened during an accident before I owned it but I'm worried because I've been driving it for years without good flow to the trans cooler.

The crush is right where the braided sleeves cover the metal lines in the photo.

I think i see a crush with one eye but the other eye doesn't!
If the sleeve is hiding the crush, that pic is useless.
Can you take a pic with the sleeve lifted or cut to show the crush?

If the crush is bad enough as you said, the tubing needs to be replaced.
The faster, the better IMO.

Sorry terrible photo, I was more trying to show the location. It's crushed pretty flat. I am 99% sure it's not factory unless someone knows it is?

Sucks it's been like this for probably 100k. Who really knows, thanks to the PO.

It's not factory!

Yeah, time for a replacement. I have heard good things about the Dorman replacements. CCKen likes them.

For a stop-gap, just cut out that section and replace it with rubber transmission hose. A few hose clamps and you're good to go.
