Default Cruise Control - Not Working

Replaced my brake booster (dual diaphragm) and now my cruise control does not work (worked prior to booster upgrade). My brake lights work fine. Should I adjust the switch so when the pedal is up the switch is fully depressed? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Pushed the switch in about 1/4 inch toward brake pedal. Will check to see if that actuates the cruise control.

yes.
CC contacts close first followed by the brake lights. You can confirm the switch adjustment with a DMM.

Adjusted the switch (closer to the pedal) and now the cruise control is working.
