There is a install tool #6139 that presses the seal into place. Or just tap it in to the same depth that it was before which is about flush with the snout on the cover.

if in dought always remeber the rubber side faces the oil.............you can use a big socket or a piece of 2x4 to press the seal into the timing chaing cover.

Talking crankcase seal

well the seal is in and aswell as all gaskets and is running with no lesks or problems THANKS AGAIN!!! i used the same tool that presses the hb in i used two over sized washers with a 2'' piece of exhaust pipe, putting the seal in place and then a washer the pipe and then the other washer on the press and worked just fine. just added bg moa to a fresh oil change yesterday and going to do plugs wire cap rotor etc. today, in hopes of snowbashing next weekend or chinamans gulch for those who know the colorado trails, and i heard there coming along pretty well with the new carnage outside of lefthand canyon.
