1988 comanche 4.0
why does the sensor keep failing . the original was good till about 170k , ive put in 6 the past 15 k including mopar ones

I have a 1987 cherokee, and i found out that my crank sensor kept failing because it was getting too close to a hot place, it would melt the outside wiring cover... i am not saying it is that but there is my experience.... again, in my cherokee
