I already started throwing parts at it... all I have left to buy is a cam position sensor and then install that and the crank pos sensor, and the coil. After that, all I would have left is plugs, plug wires, and PCM (repair).

Actually, I have offered to loan my Hantek to anyone (with security deposit and they pay all postage).
We've talked a lot about 6022. For our purposes here probably better than 1008C.
Although if I had to do it now probably go with the entry level Pico.
Right now playing with a phone app for those days that might prove harmful to the laptop...

Did you check your oxygen sensor(s). I had somewhat similar issues and it was a bad upstream sensor.
Any vacuum leaks? I had a few leaks too and found them with a cigar.
