Driving down the road when my jeep (2001) suddenly died, attempted to turn over but no such luck. Pushed it back to the house (a good mile), and it's sat as I have had almost no time to devote to it. After getting at it now, I have crank, no fuel pressure (I have more/less half a tank), have tried putting small amount of gas and starting fluid in the intake (not at the same time and with considerable amount of time in between either) and it didn't start, but came close (not sure how to describe but it was a faster crank like it was starting). I also have the "no bus"come up on my odometer. Battery/Starter/Alternator are all well and working. I've heard it may be the cps or ignition coil? I got time today im going to work on it so anything will help

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have a strong blue spark and you have the proper fuel pressure. With your 01 you should have 49psi + or - 5psi.
You can also try unplugging the cps and plug it back in and see if it starts. By any chance have you pulled the codes for it yet?

The first thing you need to do is get your terms straight, so you don't confuse yourself or cause confusion among people who are trying to help you.
"Turns over" means just that - the engine turns over. It goes around. The starter engages, and spins the engine around.
It does NOT mean that the engine STARTS.
There's a huge difference in trying to troubleshoot an engine that won't turn over, and an engine that turns over, but won't START.
