My windshield got cracked when a gravel truck had some gravel slam into my windshield and crack it. I'm gonna replace the windshield. What is a good company to use. Safelite sent me a 50 dollar coupon code when I did a estimate. Also what windshield gasket should I get I'm gonna get one to have so they can replace it. Will this rock auto precision one work or should I just let them supply a gasket. Anything I should keep in mind or make sure they do when the windshield gets replaced?
Safelite does fine here. Also if you got the plates, its the duty of the truck driver to secure their load, so if something came off, say a fender and cracked or damages your vehicle, they're liable

I got the all the info and tried calling the truck company multiple times. I couldn't get a answer and I'm not going to waste time driving there and trying to argue when I can't really prove it. I'm just gonna take the L and pull the eff over if I see another gravel truck. I just wanna make sure that whoever does replace the glass does a good job and I don't have to worry about it later.

Call your local highway patrol and or police depending on where it happened. File a police report, then call your insurance company.

Yeah I let them know but my insurance said they couldn't do anything not that I want my insurance covering the damage, I asked if they could get in contact with the company's insurance and they said no the highway patrol guy made a report but I honestly don't expect much to come from it. wrong place wrong time sh*t happens. Me and my buddy were joking cause I had been working on it for the past month on my days off doing the front and rear suspension and doing a few other things and the second day I'm driving this happens so I gotta fix another thing.
I ordered this one and the Safelite Tech said this was the best gasket out there and was surprised I had it...left me the one Safelite provided in the bag.
Got it. '97–'01 XJ AC hoses are basically the same ignore the '98 cutoff in parts listings. If it looks right, it’ll work. Swap the o-rings too (they love to leak). Cross-check with Team Cherokee or Morris 4x4 diagrams to confirm fitment. Post-2001 models had more changes, so you're good with a '98+ hose.

The company that replaced the windshield didn't provide the gasket?
They replaced it I called and they provide a gasket so all I did was have them come out and replace the windshield and gasket. They did a good job and it was pretty cheap too only 250.
