So ive confirmed that my xj has eaten its second manifold ..currently looking into a replacement just curious on others thoughts on different products, whats taken trail abuse, whats held up for dd that primarily take short drives.. thanks in advance

 

Have you checked your engine mounts?

 

Some people say the cheapos work OK. I put a MOPAR manifold on my '92 because I didn't want to do it twice.

It was the improved version with the accordion folds in it.

 

Motor mounts as best I can tell are good no cracking no sponginess engine only has maybe 5 to 10 degree sway when I romp on the throttle..it has a mopar accordion style one now that lasted 90k but 90% of my driving is done and over in 20 mins...just re ally trying to avoid having to do this a 3rd time
