I have leak at the drivers side floorboard, I think this is caused by the drainage of the cowl. When I poor water into the cowl water runs all the way from the chassis between the front and the backdoor. Is water supposed to run at the drivers side from the cowl or only from the passenger side? I removed the cover of the cowl and see a small hole at the drivers side, is this supposed to be there or do I need to put a plug in there?

I have a similar leak. I removed the cowl but at the time didn't have an inspection mirror or flashlight to look on either side of the wiper motor to the sides of the vehicle. I notice water vapor forming at the center bottom on the inside of the windshield and that isn't right. That's on my 98. I don't see that on my 96. And, the 98 smells musty inside. Time for exploratory surgery.
