ok i am just trying to get the little things fixed to pass inspection.

two symptoms (first i'm not worried about)
1) if you dont put the xj into park the right way it wont start and you have to push the shifter forward and turn the key
2) reverse lights don't work and they have new bulbs

is this the neutral safety switch causing these problems?

right highbeam doesnt work with two brand new headlights (replacing headlight socket tomorrow)

and p1494 cel grabbing a leak detection pump from the junkyard tomorrow since the connector has power with the key on

any advice is greatly appreciated

also can i put an overhead center console out of a cherokee limited using the harness i grabbed. would i have to add some sensors or get a diff. headliner or run other wires apart than the harness. are the connectors there if the vehicle didnt come with the console???
