I dont know if these are an easy fix or not but I need some help...

My transmission shifts rough and I was told it was because of this cable...


Also my shifter doesnt shift into 1/2 it stops at 3. It has some bar that stops it and you dont have to push the button or apply the brake to shift. just pull or push it.



Also I have a half second lag in throttle. I push the pedal down and a half second later the rpm's go up... I changed the spark plug and spark plug wires but that didnt help. mayb a bad distributor cap? is this the right firing order?



Last thing. My engine "searches" and I have this vacuum tubing going like this.

and I dont know what to do about that... When I unplug it it "searches" worse. Btw that hose goes to the back part of the engine.

 

that cable should be securely mounted in the bracket

I went to the JY and got that transmission cable. It was pretty rough to get off. Once it stops raining i'll take the other one off and put that one on. It actually ataches to the throttle as well and because the bracket was loose it got caught and made the throttle get stuck open... scary stuff on the road lol
