Just for kicks keep an eye on your head, look straight down every so often from the oil filler cap looking for a crack between cylinders # 3 and #4. Hope you never see one.Once it's warmed up if you have a crack you should see a line of anti-freeze.

Preciate the help y'all. Went with the Radiator Barn HD 3 row. Ive been up visiting my brother at State, hopefully it will be there by the time I get home.
Plan to completely flush the system myself, no sense in paying someone to do it.
Hopefully its smooth sailing afterwards.

Then I learned most shops use some sort of cleaner and they do the flush at engine temp.
Those two things alone make it worth taking it to a shop. Not to mention they have to dispose of the coolant themselves. That way you don't have to worry about getting rid of it safely...

If u have it flushed, leave the old rad in, install the new rad after the flush, don't chance flushed crud settleing in the bottom of the new rad.

I've thought about getting a flush then tug the thing home, without running the motor. Then replace EVERYTHING cooling related. That way everything is squeaky clean.
That is in a perfect world, and my system should be completely replaced anyway.
Money doesn't grow on trees, though.

....wish I could have found something like that local....may consider it next time.
