Cooling problems
Ok we have replaced everything in the cooling system to find out that the water pump we have is supposed to go clockwise, but with the belt pattern the water pump turns counter clockwise, and is now causing all kinds of problems. Every auto parts store only has clockwise water pumps stating that 1998 cherokee 4.0 all have clockwise water pumps? Now what? Anyone else ran into this problem?

The water pump is reverse, counter clockwise, rotation. The impeller should be stamped with an "R". All the auto parts stores here have/show reverse rotation water pumps.

even ones with R stamped on them the propeller still turns clockwise which is pushing the water the wrong direction. It's going backwards through thermostat
