cooling problem

Default cooling problem

hey all, new to this forum. basicall my jeep is overheating. coolant keeps boiling over out of the coolant resevoir. and tem guage stays at max while runnin. ive replaced the reservoir, the t stat, and hoses. it gets amazing heat inside the jeep. any ideas greatly appreciated

Replace radiator, water pump and fan clutch as well.

If u replace those 3 at once, only need to do 1 coolant drain/re-fill. If u do them 1 at a time, u'll do at least 2 more coolant drain/re-fills and I presume u've already done at least 1 previous drain/re-fill.

yeah this true. at least ill know its a bran new system and will work properly aswell

......not to mention u sleep better at night knowing it's all done vs laying awake guessing at what else to replace.

Make sure the coolant temperature sensor is working, it controls when your secondary electric fan turns on to add additional air flow.

best thing upgrade to open system get rid of crappy closed cooling system ,and aux fan on renix is controled by sensor on radiator not coolant temp sensor as with newer xjs...

i dont have a secondary electric cooling fan. is it possible that the head gasket is gone even though the oil isnt milky??
