Cooling Fans?
Today when I arrived back home from a short trip to the store and raised my hood to check the tranny fluid, only one of the two cooling fans was operating. My question, is this normal, considering my trip was short, ambient temp was not excessively hot and my jeep was not under heavy load or should both fans operate regardless of conditions. Thanks.

Do u have 2 electric fans????? The stock original set-up is 1 belt driven fan (turns when motor is running) and 1 electric fan that turns on when coolant reaches 218 or a/c is on.

Yes two fans. The belt driven fan is working. Tomorrow I will run it again and turn on the ac and see if that kicks it on. Thanks for the info, I have a better idea now.
